The arrival and reception of Blue Riviera

The House

A private house at the very edge of the sea.

Blue Riviera stands at the tip of the Çukurbağ Peninsula, on the last reach of land before Kaş gives itself to the sea. Thirteen lime-washed rooms gather around a pool that hangs above the water — a private world for those who would rather be nowhere else, lit from morning to dusk by the Mediterranean.

Days here keep an unhurried rhythm of their own. Breakfast is laid on the terrace as the first boats slip out; the afternoons belong to the pool and the shade of the olive trees; and each evening the sun sinks into the open sea as dinner is set by candlelight. It is the Mediterranean at its most private — and its most at peace.

The Lounge

The Lounge

A cool, shuttered room of linen and old wood — for a book in the heat of the afternoon, a glass of something cold before dinner, or the simple luxury of an hour with nothing to do.

Arrival

Arrival

You are met by name, not by a counter. Bags disappear, a cold towel and a glass of something local appear, and the house arranges itself around your day. Late arrival, early swim, a boat at dawn — it is all simply handled.

A private Turkish bath ritual

The Hammam

Beneath the house lies a small marble hammam, kept warm and low-lit. Here the centuries-old ritual unfolds slowly: a wash with foam drawn into great soft clouds, a polish with the kese mitt, warm water poured from a copper tas, and a long, peaceful rest on the heated stone.

Reserved privately for one guest or two, by arrangement with the house. Honeymoon guests are welcomed with a couples' ritual.
